Albert "Earl" Sumner

Funeral services for Albert "Earl" Sumner age 90 of Dresden will be held on Monday 11/11/19 in Bible Union Baptist Church in Martin at 11:00 am.  Visitation will be held on Monday 11/11/19 at Bible Union Baptist Church from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the service in Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston, MS., on Tuesday, 11/12/19.  He is survived by his sons; Scott Sumner of Rossville, TN. and Bro. Keith Sumner of Dresden, his wife; Martha Overton Sumner also of Dresden, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  He was born April 30, 1929 in Webb, MS. to the late Oscar S. Sumner and Angie Hollowell Sumner.  He was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church and a United States Army veteran.  In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Bible Union Baptist Church or Operation Christmas Child also at Bible Union Baptist Church in Mr. Sumner's memory.
