Alice Dorabell Chappell

Alice Dorabell Chappell, age 88 of Gleason, passed away Tuesday October 11th at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and again Friday 12 noon until 1:30pm with gravside services at 2:00pm to follow in Butler Cemetery in Gleason, TN. Alice was born in Camden, TN to the late Henry Paul Umsted and Ollie Myrtle Allen. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Linda Chappell of Gleason, TN, brother Bobby Umsted of Huntingdon, TN, sisters Pearl Winchester of Paducah, KY and Shirley Brewer of Huntingdon, TN, two grandchildren Charles (Marie) Chappell and Jonathon (Amanda) Chappell, and two great-grandchildren Keeley (Clayton) Chappell and Emma Chappell. She is preceeded in death by her husband Hubert Junior Chappell, son Larry Glenn Chappell, four brothers Jim Umsted, Neil Umsted, Ernest Umsted, and Wray Umsted, and great-grandchild Payton Chappell.
