Mrs. Anita (Klees) Hathcoat, age 75, of Dresden, died on Friday, January 11th, 2019 at Hillview Community Living Center. Anita was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Musebrink) Klees of Germany. Her parents were passengers on the last boat out of Germany before Hitler closed the German border. They settled in Chicago, IL where Anita was born. Anita was employed as the head cook at Northern IL University, feeding thousands of students daily.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hathcoat of Dresden TN; son and his wife, Joseph & Threse Hathcoat of Algonquin IL; daughters, Kathy Coleman and Tina Glowienke both of Chicago IL and Monica, and her husband Mike, Latty of Momence IL; brother, Roger Klees of Canada; sister, Eleanor Black of Kalamazoo MI; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will hold a private celebtation of life memorial service in memory of Mrs. Anita Klees Hathcoat.
