Barbara Atkins

Barbara Atkins age 68 of Dresden, died on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Van Ayer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Martin. Visitation was held in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 10 AM until funeral time at 1 PM with burial that followed in Walker's Cemetery located in Paris, TN. She was the wife of Mr. James "Bill" Atkins of Dresden, the mother of Jeffrey Allen (Amy) Maxey of Milan, the step mother of Clay (Kathy) Atkins of Cookeville, Mark (Christie) Atkins of Cottage Grove, and David (Lori) Atkins of Columbia, MO. She is survived by her brother; Joe Wayne Royster, her two sisters; Diane (Dannie) Roberts, Melanie (Lloyd) Essary all of Dresden, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; Wayne Tidwell Royster and Jo Allen Morris Royster, her son; Bro. Dwayne Maxey and her sister; Nancy Russell.
