Barbara Kirschner Dildine, age 88, of Martin, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. A celebration of her life service will be held January 10, 2021, at The First United Pentecostal Church, 1105 Edwards Street, Union City, Tennessee. Friends may arrive at 10:30 AM and the service will begin at 1:00 PM.
Barbara was born November 11, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to Conrad and Minnie Kirschner. She loved fishing, working in the yard, and planting flowers. Her greatest love was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the world to her, but most of all, she loved her church and her church family. She loved serving the Lord and she knew she was going to a better place.
Mrs. Dildine was preceeded in death by her parents, Conrad and Minnie Kirschner; her brothers, Bill Kirschner, Connie Kirschner, and Joe Kirschner; her sisters, Anne Bregeron and Shirley Hilger; and her grandson, Thomas Stutts.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Dildine of Martin; children, Shiela Stutts of Stanley, North Carolina, David (Susan) Dildine, Donna Dildine, and Bobby Dildine, all of Martin; 11 grandchildren, Christopher, Heather (Jeremy), Lori (Jason), William, BJ, Josh, Kurtis, David (Dawn) Mansfield, Melissa, Tiffany (Beachum), Candise (Dallas); 21 great-grand children, 5 great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Johnson of Arlington, Texas. and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
