Mrs. Barbara Carney Tyson, age 73, of Martin, TN, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Graveside services for Mrs. Tyson were conducted on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Eastside Cemetery in Martin with burial immediately following. Mrs. Tyson was born in Detroit, MI to the late William Carl and Neta Mae Webb Carney. She was a member of the Martin Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Joe N. Tyson of Martin, TN; son, Trent (Keely) Tyson of Jackson, TN; daughter, Tamara (Robert) Zickafoose of Dickson, TN; sisters, Sandra Carney of Nashville, TN and Sharon Carney Judd of Old Hickory, TN; grandsons, Joseph Garrett (Meghan) Tyson of Nicholasville, KY and Trevor Neil Tyson of Jackson, TN; and a great granddaughter, Hadley Mae Tyson of Nicholasville, KY.
