Betty Jean Cooley

Betty Jean Cooley age 84 of Martin, passed away January 12, 2022 at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.  Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, 1/15/2022 at 10:00 am in Sandy Branch Cemetery near Chestnut Glade.  Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, 1/14/2022 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Betty Jean (Mealer) Cooley was born March 3, 1937 in Ripley, TN.  to the late Ray and Martha Moore Mealer.  She is survived by her son, Glen Michael Cooley, her daughters, Suzanna Bills, Sherry Miles, Terry Lynch, and Stacy Pogue, one brother, Robin Mealer, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bro. Glen William Cooley, her brothers, Sonny Mealer, Freddie Mealer, Gary Mealer, Jerry Mealer, and her sisters, Nell Johnson, Brenda Evans, Gail Franks and her great grandson, Joseph Lynch.
