Betty Sue Featherstone (Rucker)

Betty Sue Rucker Featherstone, 88 of Dresden, died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Brookdale Jackson Oaks Assisted Living Center in Jackson, TN.

Betty was a retired teacher and a member of the Dresden First United Methodist Church.  She was born May 15, 1931 in McKenzie, TN to the late Fred and Myrtle Kennon Rucker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Featherstone and her grand son Sam Featherstone.  She is survived by her two children, Amy (Jerry) Ray of Jackson, TN, and Andy (Tammy) Featherstone of Newburgh, IN, her brother, Dan (Patty) Rucker of Germantown, TN, three grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Due to the current social gathering restrictions, a family-only graveside service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dresden First United Methodist Church Building Fund or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
