Betty Jeannette Perkins

Betty Jeanette Perkins, 90 formerly Dresden, passed away Thursday March 30, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 2 pm at Macks Grove Cemetery. Burial will immediately follow. Visitation will be Wednesday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 10 am until 1:15 pm. Betty was born in Chicago, IL on July 15, 1932 to the late George and Betty Hicks McGhee. She was a retired business owner. She is survived by a son Phil (Melaynie) Perkins of Gadsden, Tn, daughters Chip (Gene) DeFeo of Winslow , Maine, and Gail Barton of Auburn, AL, brother Alan McGhee of Chicago, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Lee Perkins, and brother Clifford McGhee.
