Billie Jean Olds Mansfield

Billie Jean Olds Mansfield, age 83 of Dresden, TN, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. Funeral services for Mrs. Mansfield were Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden with burial following in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Mrs. Mansfield was born in Weakley County, TN to the late Cuthbert C. and Lydia Ann Norman Olds. Mrs. Mansfield was the former owner of Doyle's Body Shop in Dresden; a member of the Dresden Business Association; a member of the American Legion Auxillary, Post 94 of Dresden; and a graduate of the Dresden High School Class of 1947. She was a member of Matheny Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Richard Michael "Mike" (Bertlyn) Mansfield of Camden, TN; five grandchildren, Marcus (Lydia) Mansfield of Augusta, SC, Misty (David) Vaughan of Gleason, TN, Micki (Steve) Cunningham of McKenzie, TN, Amy (Kevin) Gilley of Camden, TN and Jo Megan (Wes) Garner of Memphis, TN; and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by long time special friends and neighbors, Jack (Sandra) Klutts, Clayton Klutts, Jordan (Missy) Klutts, and Vetra (Derick) Perry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Doyle Mansfield; three brothers, Quinton Olds, Ralph S. Olds, and Joe K. Olds; and a sister, Hattie Mercedes Olds King.
