Billy Ray Butts

Billy Ray Butts, 81, of Dresden, TN died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral services were Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sunset Cemetery.

Mr. Butts was born September 13, 1933 in Dresden, TN to the late Harry D. "Bill" and Mary Killebrew Butts. He was the owner of Dresden Distributors and a member of the Weakley County Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Pinkston Butts; daughter, Jennie Washburn; son, Don Butts; and grandson, Brian Washburn.

He is survived by his son, Van (Jennifer) Butts of Dresden; grandchildren, Derek Butts and Miranda Irvine both of Dresden; four great grandchildren; and sisters, Jane (Paul) Chandler of Dresden and Shelby (Wayne) Jordan of Hernando, Florida.
