Billy Joe King Sr.

Billy Joe King Sr. 90 of Martin, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at AHC Van Ayer. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 9. 2026 at 11 am at Bowlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery in Hickman KY. Visitation will be at Bowlin Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 4 pm until 7 pm, and again Thursday from 10 am until service time at 11 am. Billy was born in Hickman, KY on March 9, 1936 to the late Albert and Zola Lewis King. He was a retired riverboat captain. He is survived by sons Billy Joe Jr, Barry, and Carl King, daughters Vicki Battles, Lisa James, Tammy Worrell, niece Lois King, 21 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Martha Lou King, son Michael King, and daughters Velverly King and Nadine King
