Billy Maxey

Billy Maxey age 76 of Palmersville, TN., died February 22, 2021 at his home.  His family will have a memorial service on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in New Hope Baptist Church near Latham with full military honors.  Friends may gather at the church just prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Billy Maxey was born April 23, 1944 to the late Malcolm and Lucille (Madrey) Maxey in Palmersville.  He worked in the maintenance department at the University of Tennessee at Martin, a United States Army Veteran and later retired from the Tennessee Army National Guard.  He is survived by his step son, Jimmy Baker of Palmersville, he was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Gayle Maxey.
