Brenda Kay Ellis

Brenda Kay Ellis age 72 of Gleason, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 3 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Bowlin Funeral Home from 2 pm until service time at 3 pm. Kay was born in McKenzie on December 31, 1953 to the late G.W. and Henrietta Dinkins Matheny. She is survived by her husband Dennis Ellis, sons Travis (Lacey) Ellis, and Brent Ellis, daughter Kayla (Clay) Anderson, brother Ronnie Matheny, sisters Beverley (Mitchell) Parham, and Rita Perkins, sister in law Carol Matheny, and grandchildren JoeBlake, J'Britton, EttaLee, Emberson, Easton, and Emalyn. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother James Matheny, and brother in law William Perkins.
