Brenda Jean Whitehead

Brenda Jean Whitehead, age 77 of Dyersburg, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at her home. Visitation will be held Friday, July 11, 2025, at Bowlin Funeral Home beginning at 4:00pm until 7:00pm and again and Saturday, July 12, 2025, beginning at 10:00am until service time at 11:00am with burial to follow in New Hope Church Cemetery in Latham, TN. Carol Scott will officiate the service. Brenda was born to the late Goble Wray and Pearlie Milton in Paducah, KY. She is survived by her husband Thurmond Whitehead; daughters Susan Whitehead and Nancy (Joseph) Quinn; sister Linda Sheridan; grandchildren Tyler, Maddie, and Jake; and 2 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her brothers Thomas Wray, Donnie Wray, Randolph Wray, Jerry Wray, and Bobby Wray, and her sister, Joyce Sparks.
