Brooxie M. White, 93 of Palmersville passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020, at the Weakley County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Dresden.  Funeral services  will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Gallimore officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Big Sandy, TN. at 3:00 pm.  The family will receive friends at Bowlin Funeral Home on Saturday, 10/24/2020 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Sunday from 12:00 pm until service time at 1:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palmersville Baptist Church in memory of Ms. Brooxie.

Brooxie M. White was born on July 5, 1927 in Bradford, TN. to the late J.W.  and Lela Davidson Longworth.  She worked as a seamstress at Kellwood Corporation in Dresden for over 25 years, she was a member of Palmersville Baptist Church.

Ms. Brooxie is survived by her son, Warren (Diane) Sorrell, her daughter, Pat (Roger) Nesbitt both of Dresden, her step-son, Phillip White of Paris, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ethell White,  brother Leon Longworth, sisters Lucille Barlow, and Thelma Longworth.
