Buddy Edward Bowers

Mr. Buddy Edward Bowers, 71, of Dresden, TN died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center. A memorial service was held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Eastside Cemetery in Martin, TN. Bro. Terry Griffin officiated the service and Honorary Pallbearers serving were Glen Damron, Josh and Matt Vinvent, Boyd Pierpoint, Lindsay Vinson, Jeffrey Barker and Mark Campbell.

Mr. Bowers was born on May 19, 1943 in Weakley County, TN to the late Morris Edward and Edna Marie Bradberry Bowers. He was a retired State Trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a member of Martin First United Methodist Church, the Dresden Elks Lodge and the Martin American Legion. He was also a retired member of the TN National Guard.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Bowers. He is survived by his children, Jamey (Dina) Bowers of Milan, TN, Jay (Leigh) Bowers of Humboldt, TN, Brent (Amanda) Bowers of Martin, TN and Vicky (Gerry) Baloga of Camden, TN, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
