Buford Gale Maynard

Buford Gale Maynard, 70, of Dresden, TN, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services were Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bible Union Baptist Church near Martin, TN. Burial preceded the funeral service at 12:00 PM at Cate Cemetery. Bro. Jim Barnhouse and Bro. Terry Griffin officiated the services.

Gale was born April 17, 1945 in Kenton, TN to the late Acie Lee and Beulah Mae Watts Maynard. He was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church and a Cover Cutter with W.F. Hall Printing Company for over 34 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, James Maynard, John Maynard, Ray Maynard, and "Jack" Maynard, and two sisters, Margie Dale Maynard and Mildred Gallimore.

Gale is survived by his wife, Nancy Brooks Maynard of Dresden, TN; a son, Tommy Maynard of Dresden, TN; a daughter, AmyDale (Patrick) Barnett of Martin, TN; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Gene (Donna) Maynard of Lansing, MI; and a sister, Fay Jones of Lansing, MI.
