Captola Summers Winstead

Mrs. Captola Summers Winstead, age 87, of Dresden died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Winstead were Monday at 2:00 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Jolley Springs Cemetery near Dresden. Mrs. Winstead was the widow of E.J. Winstead, the mother of Kenneth Winstead, Barbara Hutchison, and June Winstead all of Dresden, TN. and Judy Mathis of Medina, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton P. and Loretta Bowlin Summers, brother Billy R. Summers and 2 sisters, Marion Summers King and Rachel Summers Stephens along with two grandchildren. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Winstead was a housewife and a member of Macks Grove Baptist Church.
