Carmon Landis Pritchett

Carmon Landis Pritchett age 93 of Dresden, passed away at his home on March 29, 2021.  His funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in the Dresden First United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.  There will not be any visitation at Bowlin Funeral Home.  Carmon Pritchett was born on September 29, 1927 in Dresden, TN. to the late John and Clara (Parham) Pritchett.  He was a Merchant Marine and later joined the Marine Corp before retiring from the Military.  He was a member of the American Legion and the Dresden First United Methodist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Laurie Pritchett, his 3 sons, Andrew (Mylinda) Pritchett both of Dresden, Richard (Reba) Pritchett of Gleason, and John (Carolyn) Pritchett of Chesapeake, VA.  He also leaves behind 7 grandaughters and 1 great grandson.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Dean Pritchett.
