Charles David Jones

Charles David Jones, 81 of Martin, passed away Friday December 1, 2023 at Diversicare in Martin. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 2 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Randy Potts officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery in Martin. Visitaion will be Sunday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 12 noon until service time at 2 pm. Mr. Jones was born on September 18, 1942 in Bradford, TN to the late David Henry and Helen Louise Clark Jones He served as a deacon at New Home Baptist Church in Martin, and also served in the Tennessee Army. National Guard. He is survived by his wife Joyce Jackson Jones also of Martin, sons Troy (Jennifer) Jones of Savannah, TN , and Trent (April) of Martin, brother Sammy (Pat) Jones of Dresden, grandchildren Taylor (Cody)Murphy, Noah Jones and Jase Jones, and one great grandchild Waylon Charles Murphy. Besides his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a brother Carnell Jones, and a sister Bertha Henry
