Cherry Lewis King Winstead

Cherry Lewis King Winstead, age 76, of Dresden, died Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at her residence. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22nd from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Bowlin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am at Pisgah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to your local animal humane society.
Cherry was a retired Eligibility Counselor with the Department of Human Services. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dresden.
Survivors include her daughters, Amber Kendall and Holly (Waylon) Hodge, both of Dresden; son, Blue (Sherry) Winstead, of Dresden; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max S. and Norma (Lewis) King; and one grandchild, Aydon River Hodge.
