Christine Cook Blackburn

Christine Cook Blackburn age 95 of Iuka, MS. formerly of Dresden died on July 26, 2017 at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services for Ms. Blackburn were held on Monday, July 31 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery. Christine Cook Blackburn was born on October 6, 1921 in Weakley Co., TN to the late H.J. Butts and Mary Jane Hathcoat Butts. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her 10 siblings, her first husband; Mr. Hillary H. Cook, and her second husband; Raymond Blackburn. She is survived by her daughter; Nancy (Larry) Brooks of Iuka, MS., 3 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
