Danny James Johnson, 69, of Dresden, passed away on December 28th, 2023. Born in Dallas, Texas, on March 21, 1954, to Marjorie Trout of Sharon Tennesee and Tiliman “Bud” Johnson Jr. of Dresden Tennessee. Danny moved with his family to Austin in 1968 where he attended Crockett High School and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.


Danny's life was enriched by his marriage to Brenda. Their union blessed them with six children. A passionate entrepreneur, Danny owned a small business. He found joy in simple pleasures like gardening, fishing, hunting, and cherishing moments with his family.


He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories. Predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Tiliman Johnson, his brother Mark Johnson, and daughter Brooke DePaula, Danny's memory will be cherished by his devoted wife of 50 years, Brenda, their children; Breanna, Britnee, Bridgette, Daniel, and Brendan; his twenty-three grandchildren; and his sisters, Judy and Libby.


A memorial service celebrating Danny's life will be held at The Mission Church located at 400 Main St. Martin, TN 38237. Friends and family are invited to visitation on January 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with the service following at 12:00 PM.
