Darlene Ann Bennett

August 3, 1960 ~ March 5, 2026 (65 years)

Darlene Ann Bennett went to be with her Lord on March 5 th , 2026 due to heart failure

following an extended illness. Darlene was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and

later lived in Phoenix, Arizona and Weakley County, Tennessee. She is survived by her

husband of 44 years, (David Bennett) and their children: Dennis, David, Dustin and

Nichole as well as three grandchildren. Darlene was a loving wife, mother, and

grandmother preceded in her passing by her parents (Allen and Joe Retha Hakes) and

two brothers (Allen and John Hakes).

Darlene was an amazing cook, animal lover, gardener and also enjoyed outdoor

activities. Every year she would love daily picking blueberries from May to August. She

will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. She also greatly enjoyed

conversation with anyone she’d meet and often had prophetic dreams and intuitions

from the Lord which came true with extraordinary accuracy.

In earlier years she worked in housekeeping and banking, In her later years she was a

homemaker, choosing the quiet life of the country and caring for her husband and her

pets. The mainstay of her existence however, was her abiding faith in her Lord, Jesus

Christ and the gift of salvation.

It is our deep belief, for us who remain, that the Lord called her home and her passing

was appointed for this season. We do not mourn as those who have no hope as we

have complete confidence we shall see her smiling face again when matters of this life

are over.
