Davis Van Skike

Mr. Davis Van Skike, age 92, of Dresden, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Van Skike were held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery.
Mr. Van Skike was born July 23, 1921 in Chicago, IL to the late David and Elizabeth Van Skike. He was a heating and air conditioning repairman and a member of Adams Chapel Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Al Van Skike, Melvin Van Skike, Jenny DuShane and Lorraine Nordell. He is survived by his wife Marjorie T. Williams Van Skike whom he married December 20, 1941.
