Deborah Lynn Lairy was born July 30, 1959 in Wiesbaden, Germany to Billy and Frances Irvine. She departed this life on March 28, 2026.Deborah was married to Walter Lairy Jr. for nearly twenty years. Although their marriage eventually came to an end, they continued to share a strong and meaningful bond, remaining close friends and offering one another mutual respect and support over the years. Deborah cherished her childhood, growing up in Dresden surrounded by her siblings and a close-knit circle of friends. Those early years were filled with laughter, strong family bonds, and a deep sense of community that stayed with her throughout her life. She was a devoted member of Fuller Street Baptist Church, where she accepted Christ at a young age. Her faith remained a guiding force, shaping her values, her kindness toward others, and her unwavering strength. Deborah dedicated 30 years of service to MTD Products, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and the meaningful relationships she built with her coworkers over the years. Her commitment and pride in her work reflected the same dedication she showed in every aspect of her life. In her free time, Deborah found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved getting lost in a good book, tending to her garden, and keeping up with current events by reading the newspaper and watching Today Show. She had a special appreciation for antiques and could often be found searching for unique treasures that told a story of their own. Above all, Deborah treasured time spent with her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she took every opportunity to create lasting memories with them—whether through shared laughter, storytelling, or simply being present. Her warmth, love, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Billy Irvine, her sisters Michelle Irvine, Margaret Capps, and brother James McDonald. Deborah is survived by two daughters: Teena Nicole (Adrian) Jarmon of Union City, TN and Chantal Lairy of Memphis, TN.
