Funeral Services for Delmer Wilkey Sr. will be held on Friday, 10/11/19 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in West Union Cemetery in Dresden. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm. Delmer Wilkey Sr. was a retired United States Navy Sr. Chief Petty Officer with 30 years service. He is survived by his sons; Delmar (Robbie) Wilkey Jr., Kevin (Karen) Wilkey, his daughter; Laura Bessent, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Alton Wilkey and Fannie Bell Wilkey, his wife; Jean Kobulnick Wilkey, his daughter; Sheila Smothers, his brother; Robert Wilkey and his granddaughter; Billie Roe Smothers.
