Dennis Harbison

Dennis Ray Harbison 75 of McKenzie passed away peacefully to his heavenly reward January 18, 2025 at Cherry Wood Nursing Home. He was born to Frank and Lula Mae Harbison in Wynne, AR on January 4, 1950. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved the Mississippi river and on towboats on the river for most of his working life. He is preceded in death by both parents, five siblings: sister, Wilma and husband Huey Huffstatler, sister, Jewell and husband Bruce Shannon, of Earle, AR, brother, Linder Harbison and wife, Ethel of McKenzie, brother, Troy Harbison and wife Bernice of Dresden, sister, Betty Craig and husband Gene Craig of Union City. He is survived by a sister Illa Miller and husband J.E. of Rochelle, IL. There are many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to nephew James "Buddy" Huffstatler for all your help and care. There will be no services at this time cremation care is being provided by Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden, TN. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
