Diania Faye Spaulding, age 79 of Union City, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. There will be a private graveside service for the family. Diania was born to the late Ralph Maynard Gatewood and Allie Anderson in Martin, TN. She is survived by her husband Freddie Spaulding; sons Michael (Holly) Spaulding and Mitch (Lori Beth) Spaulding; sister Reba Montgomery; and 5 grandchildren Cade Spaulding, Cooper Spaulding, Casen Spaulding, Allie Spaulding, and Athan Spaulding. Besides her parents, Diania is preceded in death by her brother Wendell Gatewood and sister Brenda Doster.
