Dickie Linn Young

Dickie Linn Young, 53, of Dresden, TN, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. Funeral services were Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Liberty Church of Christ near Dresden, with burial following in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.

Dickie was born October 19, 1961 in Mayfield, KY to the late L. E. and Betty Jean Trimble Young. He was the Owner/Operator of Jerry's Service Station and a member of Liberty Church of Christ. He married Iricka McBride April 19, 1996. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry E. Young.

Dickie is survived by his wife, Iricka McBride Young of Dresden; three sons, Justin (Rhiannon) Coleman of Dresden, Dylan Young of Dresden, and Chawn Ellison of Trenton, TN; two daughters, Emily (Tyler) Verner of Dresden, and Brandi Beamon of Roanoke, VA; 4 grandchildren; a brother Rickie (Lee) Young of Dresden; and two sisters, Deborah (Ronald) Perkins of Dresden, and Pamela (Steve) Smith of Oceola, AR.
