Don Paul Darnell

Don Paul Darnell age 82 of Martin went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  Funeral service will be Monday, June 12, 2023 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in Little Zion Cemetery in Palmersville, Tennessee.  Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.  Don Paul Darnell was born March 20, 1941 to the late Herbert Newton Darnell and Eddie Belle (Gallimore) Darnell in Dresden, Tennessee.  He was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church, a devoted family man, he retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and also worked at WCMT Radio in Martin.  He leaves behind his beloved wife, Glenda Darnell of Martin, his son, Barry Darnell, his daughters, Anna (David) Tinkle of Pleasant View, Tennessee, Donna Darnell Butler of Martin, his sister Marie (Tommy) Wright of Martin, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a son, David Darnell, a brother Tommy Murray, and a sister Cora Lee Darnell.
