Don Roy Winstead

Don Roy Winstead age 75 of Dresden passed away on Thursday, 10/31/19 at his home.  Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, 11/4/19 at 11:00 am in Pisgah Cemetery with burial to follow the service.  The family will receive friends at Bowlin Funeral Home on Monday morning from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.

Don Roy Winstead was born January 28, 1944 to the late Huston Roy Winstead and Winnie Ruth Bowers Winstead, he was a retired farmer, sportsman's guide and a 1st Lieutenant in the United States National Guard. He was a member of Pisgah Methodist Church.  He is survived by his son; Blue (Sherry) Winstead, his daughters; Amber Kendall, Holly (Waylon) Hodge and 5 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife; Cherry Winstead, his grandson; Aydon River Hodge, his brothers; Charlie Pete Winstead and Richard Darrell Winstead.
