Donald Franklin Gallimore

Donald Franklin Gallimore, 79, of Dresden, TN, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Bowlin Funeral Home with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.
Mr. Gallimore was born March 15, 1936 in Dresden, TN to the late Buford F. and Clara B. Davis Gallimore. He was a retired house parent for the TN Baptist Children's Home and a retired truck driver. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Gallimore and Gathrin Gallimore.

Donald is survived by his wife, Gail Pollock Gallimore of Dresden, TN; daughters, Donna (Lynn) Shobe of Birmingham, AL, Tammy (Jason Bryant) Gallimore of Fairview, TN; grandchildren, Crystal, Stephen, Jesse, Myranda and Emma; great grandchildren; Erin, Gage, Lauren, and Drake and numerous additional children he loved through the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. He is also survived by a sister, Barbara Smith of Dresden.
