Donna Vyonne Burton, 72, of Dresden, passed away on September 1, 2026, at her home. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Donna dedicated her life to caring for others as a CNA and found joy in her beloved dog, Charlie.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Robert (Tabitha Rinks) Burton, her daughters, Priscilla (David) Thomas, Shelia Baker, and Joann Burton, along with seven cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss are nephews David and Jerry Johnson, and niece Celinda Keech.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Cooper, and sisters, Linda Wilson and Diane.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and to honor Donna’s passion for animals, donations can be made to the ASPCA, the Humane Society, or a local animal shelter. Her gentle spirit and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
