Donovan Edward "Don" Hendricks

Donovan Edward Hendricks, 75, of Dresden, TN died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden. Funeral services were Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bowlin Funeral Home with burial following in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Tom Mayo officiated the services. Pallbearers were Doug Hendricks, Tony Nance, Joe Hatler, Danny Scearce, Mike Turbeville and Forest Rachels.

Mr. Hendricks was born April 8, 1940 in New Albany, IN to the late Ralph Henry and Kathryn Elizabeth Hahn Hendricks. He was a retired research scientist for the United States Department of Agriculture and a member of Hatlers Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hendricks was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilda Mae Day Hendricks. He is survived by his son, Douglas Dwayne (Lynn) Hendricks of Long Island, NY, daughter; Kimberly Kaye (Tony) Nance of Divernon, IL, grandchild, Nicole (Chris) Baker of Arizona, three great grandchildren, brothers; David R. (Margaret) Hendricks of Merritt Island, FL and Mark (Alita) Hendricks of Florida and sister, Anne (Dan) Sommers of Wasilla,Alaska.
