Dorothy Sue Boyd

Dorothy Sue Boyd, 79 of Dresden, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Weakley County Nursing Home. Private graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 11 am, at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Burial will immediately follow. Dorothy was born December 28, 1940, in Ridgley, TN, to the late Leon and Dorothy Marie Singleton Bateman. She is survived by two sons, Steve  Boyd of Martin, and Ricky Boyd of Dresden, daughter Debbie Brewer of Martin, brother Jimmy Bateman of Milan,  sisters Mary Deal, and Joyce Green both of Jackson, grandchildren Josh Boyd, Natasha Boyd, April Cooper, Landon Scott, Miranda Lamb, John Scott, Austin Boyd, Stanton Boyd, and the late Bethany Scott, great grandchildren, Hailey, Dallas, Tyler, Cole, Savanah, Summer, Carson, Cooper, Andrew, Lilly, and Grant.  Dorothy was a retired nurse.
