Dorothy Alene Dowell

Dorothy Alene Dowell,  age 89 of Dresden,  passed away on July 30, 2020 at Weakley County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dresden.  Her family will receive friends at Bowlin Funeral Home on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Ms. Dorothy's body will then be transported to Crystal Lake, IL. to be interred next to her husband, Mr. Gene Dowell who preceded her in death.  Dorothy Alene (Graves) Dowell was born August 5, 1930 in Cleveland, TN. to the late William H. Graves and Lena Tallent Graves.  She is a member of Bible Union Baptist Church and is survived by her son, Steve Renslow of Crystal Lake, IL., her daughter, Jean Heisler of Dresden, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her sons, Douglas, Ronald, and Gilbert Renslow.
