Dorothy Gaynell Morris (Hawkins)

Dorothy Gaynell Hawkins Morris, age 96 of Dresden passed away at her home on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. Morris were held on Monday, July 25th, 2016 inside Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM with burial that followed in the Tansil Cemetery in Sharon, TN., with Bro. Tommy Harrison and Dr. Don McCulley officiating the services. Mrs. Morris was born on June 23, 1920 to the late Thomas Hawkins and Beauluh Hedgecock Hawkins in Sidonia, TN. She was the widow of Mr. Opal Morris, the mother of Mike (Charlotte) Morris and Sherry Hosey, both of Dresden. She also leaves behind her two sisters; Dimple Newsom of Sharon, Carolyn Jones of Sidonia, four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
