Dortha "Sue" Ray

Dortha "Sue" Ray age 83 of Dresden, passed away May 25, 2024 at Diversicare of Martin.  Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, May 27, 2024 in Thompson Cemetery in Dresden at 1:00 pm.  Bro. Mike White will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Monday, May 27, 2024 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm.  She was born May 27, 1940 in Palmersville, TN. to the late Basil Monsee King and Jessie Wray Thompson King.  She is survived by her sons; Tommy (Renee) Ray of Martin, TN., Randy (Anita) Ray of Murrary, KY., Steve Ray of Palmersville, TN., Chris (Paige) Ray of Goreville, IL., her grandchildren; Jordan, Hallie, Garrett, Beth, Kelsey, Reese, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Ray.
