Doug Hooks

Frank Douglas Hooks, 82, passed away May 24, 2021 at Henry County Medical Center. He was born January 14, 1939 to the late Kuhron and Bernice Hooks. A retired driver for Hutson Ag in Palmersville. Doug was a devout christian and member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sharon where he taught Sunday school for many years. His greatest loves were fishing, knives, his children, and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Jane Hooks, son Michael (Tabby) Hooks of Palmersville, daughters Cindy (Mark) Wilson of Sharon and Linda Biggers of Dresden. Doug was preceded in death by a son Steven Hooks of Sharon. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren Danialle and Gracie Wilkerson both of Dresden, and Barrett Sadler of Palmersville, and one great granddaughter Reigh Lynn Carlton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 2 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church in Sharon. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery in Palmersville. Visitation will be at the church from 11 am until service time at 2 pm
