Doyle Lee Scott age 79 of Dresden, died Wednesday. March 1, 2017 at Tennova Volunteer Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Scott were held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 11 AM. Bro. Bob Copeland and Bro. Bob Conley officiated the service. Burial followed in Olive Branch Methodist Church Cemetery near Como, TN. Doyle Lee Scott was born on April 4, 1937 to the late Wilburn and Flora Elizabeth Gallien Scott in Weakley County. He was a member of Adams Chapel Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Mr. Scott is survived by his wife; Helen Ruth Scott, his son; Dennis (Brenda) Scott, his 2 daughters; Carolyn (Rance) Alexander of Springville, TN. and Patricia Scott, 2 brothers; Odean (Ruby) and Johnny Scott, 2 sisters; Betty (Paul) Toombs of McKenzie and Diane (Hal) Redding of Springville, TN., 4 grandchlidren; Joey, Steven Reagan, Bryan and Jon Scott, 8 great-grandchildren; Olivia, Kinsey, Rachel, and Alexia Reagan, Cadence, Jon Paul, Parker, and Laney Scott. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers; Ralph and J. W. Scott.
