Dr. Thomas H. Mayo, DDS, age 89, of Dresden, died Thursday October 13, 2011 at his home in Dresden. Graveside memorial services for Dr. Mayo were Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, TN with burial immediately following. Dr. Mayo is survived by three sons; Basil L. (Diana Castle) Mayo and Thomas H. (Kathy) Mayo, Jr both of Hawaii, and Mark D. (Kelley) Mayo of Franklin, TN; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister Ellen Schleich of Greenfield, TN. Dr. Mayo was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Arbuckle Mayo and his parents, Basil Sylvester and Ruby Hillis Mayo.
