Mrs. Eara Mae Overcast, 89, of Dresden, TN died Friday, March 28, 2014 at Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Overcast were Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Foundry Hill Cemetery in Puryear, TN.

Mrs. Overcast was born November 4, 1924 in Weakley County, TN to the late Bates and Etta Gallimore Ellis. She was a housewife and member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Heston Glenn Overcast, three sisters and six brothers.

She is survived by sons; Kenneth (Donna) Overcast of Dresden, Larry (Gaye) Overcast of Humboldt, daughters; Linda (Larry) Kimbel of South Fulton, TN and Glenda (Gerald) Merritt of Martin, TN. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Bryan Kimbel, Mickey Overcast, Chris (Melissa) Merritt, Kyle Merritt and Adam (Erin) Overcast and five great grandchildren; Angel Overcast, MaKayla Overcast, Grace Ann Merritt, Jack Merritt, and Peyton Overcast.
