Edith Beauton Traywick

Edith Beauton Grubbs Traywick, 96, of Dresden, TN, died Saturday May 11, 2013 at her residence in Dresden. Graveside services will be Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN. There will be no public visitation.

Mrs. Traywick was born May 21, 1916 in Fulton County, KY to the late Walter and Mamie Alderdice Grubbs. She was a member of Rocky Springs Primitive Baptist Church near Jackson, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Traywick; a son, Raye Wilson; two daughters, Oleta Faye Taylor and Miriam Wilson; and a granddaughter.

She is survived by a brother, Johnny Grubbs of Lockport, IL; a sister, Glendale Ransom of South Fulton, KY; a son in law, George Taylor of Dresden; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren
