Funeral services for Ernest Ray Allen age 84 were held on Friday, January 26, 2018 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery. Ernest Ray Allen was born on November 12, 1933 to the late Eunice Leon and Ruby Phillips Allen in Obion, TN. He was a member of the Dresden Church of Christ and a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife; Caroline Wright Allen of Martin, his son; Steve (Diane) Allen, his daughter; Charlotte West, his brothers; Jack (Jane) Allen, Thomas (Brenda) Allen, Frank (Sarah) Allen, his sisters; Betty Sue Allen, Jane Allen Sutton, his 7 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was predeceased in death by his son; Jeffrey Ray Allen,his brothers; Robert and Billy Allen.
