Ethel Mae Johnson

Ethel Mae Johnson, age 84 of Dresden, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, at her home. Visitation will be held Monday, June 3rd at Bowlin Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon until service time at 1:00pm with burial to follow in Parham Cemetery in Martin. Bro. David McDonald will officiate the service. Ethel Mae (Tatum) Johnson was born June 29, 1939, to the late James Eugene and Callie (Morman) Tatum in Somerville, TN. She is survived by her 7 daughters Carrie (Jackie) Sowell of Milan, TN, Shirlene Johnson of Union City, TN, Joyce Ann Johnson McKinely of Paducah, KY, Mae Tansil, Betty Johnson Mora, Linda Johnson, and Theresa Warford; 2 sons John Johnson of Paducah, KY and Joe David Johnson; 4 sisters Emma Lee (Ezell) Dotson, Callie Bell Smith, Marie Tatum, and Aline (Bobby) Dickerson; and 3 brothers Willie Gene (Varlene) Tatum, Cleveland Tatum, and J.C. Tatum. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Sidney Johnson; sisters Mary Ann Dortch and Fannie Lue Hester; son Thomas Jr. Johnson; and granddaughters Heather McKinley, Carrie Johnson, and Regina Johnson.
