Eugene Norman

Mr. Eugene Norman, 76, of Dresden, TN died Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center. Funeral services for Mr. Norman were Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sunset Cemetery. Dr. Don McCulley officiated the services. Pallbearers were Tim Sellers, Ronnie Sellers, Brent Perry, Bill Sellers, Ron Phillips, Steve Dyer, Hunter Dyer, Roger Tibbs, Ricky Finney, Kerry Adams and Brent Wright. Honorary Pallbearers were Dan Brooks, Don Perry, Richard Fuqua, Jimmie Higgs, Buddy Sellers, Jimmy Sellers and Danny Tuck.

Mr. Norman was a retired State Inspector for Weights and Measures with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. He was a member of Dresden First Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 94. He also served in the TN National Guard. Eugene was born March 7, 1938 in Weakley County to the late Willie Henry and Mary Gray Tuck Norman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Jane Sweet Norman.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Pamela Jane and Kenny Caldwell of Sharon and his granddaughter, Kenra Jane Caldwell also of Sharon.
