Eula Mae Griffith

Eula Mae Griffith, 86 of Palmersville, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Brookdale Memory Care Center in Clarksville, TN. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1 pm at Bowlin Funeral. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 11 am until service time at 1 pm.  Mrs. Griffith was born on September 9, 1934 to the Late J.C."Buster"  and Mildren Nevil McDaniel. She worked at Bay Bee Shoe Company in Dresden for over 43 years. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church near Latham, TN, where she taught Sunday school, either children's or the women's class for many years. Everyone knew her as "Mama Mae" She loved people, especially children. She dedicated her life to serving God, caring for her family, and trying to make a positive difference in the lives of others. She is loved and will be missed by many. Mrs Griffith is survived by one daughter Treva (Hugh) Berryman of Arrington, TN, sons Dwayne (Beverly) Griffith of Dresden, and Joel Griffith of Clarksville, grandchildren Faith Hesley of Paducah, KY, Johnathan Berryman and Jessica Sloan both of Mount Juliet, TN, and 6 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 71 years Charles Edward Griffith, brother Billy Ray McDaniel, and sister Linda Faye Cox.
