Florence Bannon (Elliott)

Minnie Florence Bannon, 87 of Trezevant, formerly of Dresden, died Sunday September 20, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services were Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Bradberry Cemetery. Bro. Darrell Pollock officiated the funeral.

Mrs. Bannon was born December 4, 1927 in Blytheville, AR to the late William Henry and Ida Elizabeth Grimsley Elliott. She was a cook and waitress and a member of McLemoresville Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee J. Bannon; brothers, Alton Elliott, Elco Elliott, and Rube Elliott; and sisters, Mae Caples, Hattie King, Montie Taylor, and Christine Novak.

Mrs. Bannon is survived by a daughter, Peggy (James) Bounds of Trezevant, TN; grandchildren, Traci Wallace and Dustin Wallace; and great grandson, Brayzen Wallace.
